Liberal Poll Shows Prop 1 Failing by 15%

Extreme Abortion Measure Not Fooling Idaho Voters

BOISE, Idaho — A new poll by the liberal Democratic group VoteNexus shows the radical abortion measure Proposition 1 losing among Idaho voters by a 39-54 margin.

Notably, the poll underrepresents 2024 Trump voters by 7%, indicating that support for Prop 1 is even lower.

The October 23 poll – viewable here and attached below — is a clear indication that Idahoans have not been fooled by the Prop 1 campaign’s false claims that the measure is “common-sense” and would merely “restore” Idaho abortion law to the Roe v. Wade standard.

In fact, Prop 1 radically changes the definition of fetal viability to allow abortions into the 7th or 8th month of pregnancy, and overrides Idaho’s parental consent laws – allowing underage girls to get an abortion without their parents’ knowledge or consent.

“No wonder Prop 1 is losing so badly,” said Prop 1 Communications Director Mary Strow. “The people behind it – many of them out-of-state leftists whose values are diametrically opposed to Idaho’s – chose to write Prop 1 as an extreme abortion measure. And Idahoans see right through their attempts to sell it as ‘moderate.’ It’s radical on abortion and it’s wrong for Idaho.”
